1.Relevant matters for handover and acceptance of sled mounted gas stations

The safety level requirements for petrochemical products and equipment are very high. Skid mounted gas stations, which have always been known for safety, attach great importance to the acceptance work after the equipment installation is completed. Because products with excellent safety performance, safety hazards are definitely not obvious. Therefore, it is necessary to hire experienced professional technicians for acceptance during equipment handover and acceptance. Otherwise, it will be very complex and unsafe to maintain safety hazards in the later stage. Today we will explain to you the relevant details that cannot be ignored in the handover and acceptance of sled mounted gas stations.

Skid mounted gas station handover is currently a widely promoted metering method for oil product handover by Chinese oil companies. Skid mounted gas station handover simplifies the measurement process and steps. Skid mounted gas station ground tank handover involves the entire logistics chain of finished oil from the oil depot to the gas station. By using a standard volume measurement method, the loss and overflow are calculated by comparing the two main data of liquid level gauge oil receiving volume and oil depot oil delivery volume.

Loading And Shipping From Gas Stations

Another issue on site is that while unloading, only gasoline can be added, not diesel (because they are afraid of adding water). Moreover, whether it is gasoline or diesel, the 10 minutes before unloading is the time for stabilizing the fuel, and refueling is not allowed. In fact, many refueling workers admit that they start unloading the fuel as soon as they hang their guns, and the stabilization time is very short. The setting for the end of oil unloading command on the control system is as follows: after clicking the button, the countdown is 5 minutes, and when the time is up, it is considered that the oil stabilization has been completed. The reading of the liquid level gauge at the end of 5 minutes (instantaneous data) is taken as the post oil unloading ruler. It is possible that after 5 minutes, the oil level may not have actually stabilized, but the system assumes that the oil level has already stabilized. The principle of setting the stable oil level for our level gauge is different from this. It is considered stable when the liquid level fluctuates within a specified range over a period of time. Therefore, in comparison, the stability report of the liquid level gauge is more accurate. Gas stations should use the liquid level gauge to record the oil after unloading, ensuring that accurate liquid level gauge data can be obtained during the handover of the sled mounted gas station. In fact, there may be human interference during the handover of ground tanks. If machines can be used instead of manual operation or to supervise human behavior during the handover of ground tanks, reducing the human factor, then the loss of ground tank handover will no longer be so headache inducing.

However, in the process of promoting the handover of sled mounted gas stations, many problems are often encountered. For example, I have handled a dispute in a southern city where a local company handed over the oil transportation task to a certain carrier company. The carrier company found that there was too much loss during the handover of the ground tank, and had to compensate 300000 yuan in the first quarter. The carrier company believed that there were problems with the liquid level instrument, system, and tank capacity meter in the local city, and compiled several cases to report to the provincial company. The quality personnel of the provincial company attach great importance to this, and relevant departments such as quality control, piping, and oil storage have jointly mobilized personnel, and called on personnel from liquid level instrument manufacturers, control system manufacturers, etc. to go to the sled gas station to hand over cases with high losses for on-site inspection and handling. As a representative of the liquid level gauge manufacturer, I also went to inspect our equipment. The difference between the oil level of several stations' liquid level gauges and the manual oil measurement comparison was within 2mm. The alarm parameter settings of the liquid level gauges were also normal. After checking the alarm records and comparing them with the oil discharge form, I found that there were issues such as the record of restarting the liquid level gauge before unloading, and the inconsistency between the liquid level gauge recording the start and end time of unloading and the document recording time. Additionally, when comparing the unloading records on our console with the documents signed at the station, the unloading end time does not match. Why is this? The webmaster's answer is that after unloading the oil, it usually takes five minutes to complete the unloading operation on the system.

2.Two powerful measures to prevent corrosion of oil tanks in sled mounted gas stations

The anti-corrosion work of oil tanks is as important as safety work in the main components of sled mounted gas stations. As the name suggests, oil tanks are storage devices for oil products. If they are corroded, the consequences can be unimaginable. Therefore, anti-corrosion work of oil tanks is of utmost importance in daily maintenance work of sled mounted gas stations. Below, we will explain two major anti-corrosion measures for oil tanks.

A. Coating anti-corrosion

The requirements for the anti-corrosion coating are: the storage product should be resistant to penetration, moisture, and not deteriorate; It has good adhesion performance, resistance to cathodic peeling, impact resistance, easy repair, storage temperature resistance, and good aging resistance. Due to friction between the oil and the pipe wall during transportation, it is required to use anti-static coatings with a resistivity of less than 108 ohms.

B. Cathodic protection

The cathodic protection method using sacrificial anodes is used to protect the cathode on the surface of the tank bottom plate. Due to temperature factors, zinc should not be used when selecting anodes; Considering safety factors, magnesium should not be used, so aluminum alloy is the best choice. This method is easy to install and easy to replace. Due to the installation of sacrificial anodes on the bottom plate of the tank, static electricity can be discharged through the anode. It is best to use heavy-duty glass flake coating, which has many advantages: resistance to chemical immersion, impact resistance, good adhesion and wear resistance, excellent impermeability, low solvent content, high solid content, and can be used for thick coating.

The above are very important details in the handover and acceptance of sled gas stations. We hope it will be helpful for units that install sled gas station equipment in the future. Tai'an Shengding Container has been engaged in the production and installation of sled gas stations for many years and has rich experience in the delivery and acceptance of sled gas stations.
